Changes to the QLD Solar Bonus Scheme
On Monday 25th June 2012, The Queensland state government announced some important changes regarding the Solar Bonus Scheme. The current scheme of $0.44/kWh will close to new applicants at midnight on the 9th of July 2012 and transition to an $0.08/kWh scheme.
What does this mean:
- To be eligible customers must have lodged their application form. (Download Energex Form or Download Ergon Energy Form)
- Once approved, you must have your installation completed prior to 30th June 2013.
- If you obtain your approval you are not obligated to install but if you do not have an approval you will not be eligible for the scheme.
- Applications will only be considered for systems under 5kW.
